About HatidAlaga
What is HatidAlaga?
HatidAlaga is an elderly care coordination service based in Metro Manila, Philippines. We assign nursing-trained health coordinators to support elderly loved ones — handling home visits, doctor appointments, medication reminders, and family health updates. We are built specifically for OFW families abroad who want professional, reliable care for their parents or grandparents back home.
Is HatidAlaga a nursing home or residential care facility?
No. HatidAlaga is a home-based coordination service. Your loved one remains in their own home. Our coordinators visit on a scheduled basis and accompany them to medical appointments — they do not live in the home or provide 24-hour care.
Is HatidAlaga available outside Metro Manila?
Currently HatidAlaga operates in all 17 cities and municipalities of Metro Manila. We are planning to expand to other major cities including Cebu, Davao, and several provinces. Join our waitlist to be notified.
Services
What services are included in a HatidAlaga plan?
All plans include a dedicated coordinator, home visits (frequency depends on plan), daily medication reminders, written reports after each visit, monthly health summaries, and same-day emergency escalation. Higher-tier plans add clinic accompaniment, appointment booking, and more frequent visits.
Can HatidAlaga help with hospital stays?
Yes. Hospital watch (up to 8 daytime hours) is available as an add-on for ₱4,000. Overnight, weekend or holiday hospital watch is ₱4,500. Your coordinator stays with your loved one to ensure they are supported and keeps you informed in real time.
What happens if there is a medical emergency?
In any emergency, your coordinator calls emergency services immediately and notifies you at the same time. They remain with your loved one until the situation is resolved and provide you with a full written account afterward.
Can HatidAlaga help arrange video calls with my loved one?
Yes. Your coordinator can facilitate video calls between you and your loved one during visits, so you can see each other and speak directly. This is especially appreciated for birthdays, holidays, and after important medical appointments.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No. HatidAlaga is month-to-month. You can cancel or pause your plan at any time with no penalty. We ask for 15 days notice before the next billing cycle when cancelling.

Getting Started
How quickly can I get started?
You can complete sign-up in under 10 minutes online. Your coordinator is matched and assigned within 3 business days, and the introductory visit happens within 7 days of sign-up.
Do I need to be in the Philippines to sign up?
No. The entire sign-up process is online and designed for OFW families abroad. You only need to provide details about your loved one and their location, then pay via GCash or Maya.
What information do I need to provide when signing up?
We ask for your loved one's name, full address, known health conditions and current medications, their doctor's name and clinic, and an emergency contact in the Philippines. This helps us assign the most suitable coordinator and prepare for the first visit.
